Surrender your appetite to a heaping plate of pasta, pasta and more pasta! Café Gondolier is the place for all your basic pasta dishes; and certainly, any Boulder resident can tell you about the $5 all-you-can-eat Tuesdays and Wednesdays ... fresh-made pasta delivered to your table until you can eat no more. Expect a 20-30 minute wait during the dinner rush -- as many college students find the restaurant a great place to stretch their dollar.
Each pasta offering is served with a side of oil and crushed garlic cloves. Depending on personal taste, you can enjoy as much (or little) garlic you choose. For me, the linguini is a superb choice as is the spaghetti with garlic and oil. Also good, the spaghetti with red sauce (however the sauce is sometimes too thin to cover all your pasta). The salads at the Gondolier are also good, although I suggest you focus on the pile of pasta you’ll find a challenge to finish.
